a 91 civic si with only header? i think he should be able to break 15's. my 90 civic si with full interior, 2 8-in subs and a box in the back, with only exhaust hit 16.2 (140k miles). i think he may have traction problems...if the motor's still in fairly good condition

He should at least be in the low low 16's or barely touching 15's. But I wouldn't be suprised if it's just header. Stock intake and exhaust was restrictive for our cars. They really open up with I/H/E though. 91's were super heavy compared to my 88.

Mine with I/H/E does 15.9, but with 183K on the clock and a leaky head gasket. A friend, who is an excellent driver can only get high 16's from his stock 91 Si in mint mint condition.

i use to have a 91 crx si with a b18a with in and out, tb, gears, ignition, 80 shot direct port and ran a best of 12.7 on slicks so you will hit low 13's with traction

Well, I think that you could break 16 with I/H/E but it depends on driver and tires.

B16 in a CRX w/ i/h/e should it mid to low 14's...so i'm guessing...a b18 w/ those mods should be a lot quicker??
