Ground Controls (shelf rates) on Tokico Illuminas set to 5 all around (stiffest). Front can go maybe an inch lower, rear maybe 1/8".

The ride is really nice, very smooth and the Illuminas dampen very well. Shelf rates are a nice DD spring for cruising, but they're a little soft, so carrying a full load of people tends to make the car super slammed (don't attempt to drive over stuff).

Previously I had it about an inch higher in the back and a little higher in the front with the shocks set to 4/3 F/R and damn, the ride was sooo nice, like OEM should be. Plenty of travel, great damping, etc. The only thing is, at the ride height I have it at now, it handles much better. I'm about -1º camber all around.

I know, those pics are super whored out, I need to take some new ones.

I'll play.

Ground control's w/ 450fr/500rr springs on tokico illuminas, homemade extended top hats front, hf front sway, st rear. No camber ajustment in the front, ingalls adjustable upper arms in the rear. A little tail happy for the street but works well on track(at my noobish level).

Check the previous page with my car. Here's another pic:

I'm on Ground Controls (shelf rates) and Tokico Illuminas. The ride is fantastic. I haven't been but I imagine it's a little soft for Auto-X/track use but for daily driver business, this is awesome. My car handles phenomenally and the ride is stiff (compared to OEM), but I haven't yet had one person complain about it being too stiff, too bumpy, or anything. My girlfriend loves it! And I used to get all kinds of complaints when my EJ1 was slammed on stock shocks...

About the height--I'm pretty much all the way down. There is maybe a half inch lower to go in the rear, if that, and I'd say about an inch left in the front. So if you want to go super slammed, then this is not the setup to do it with. But if you want a good practical stance, ride, and excellent handling, I'd say go for it.

ah nice. yeah i personally want to go super slammed, but then again my gf drives my car a lot too so that would probably be a bad idea hahah. What size wheels and tires are you using? right now im rolling some 15's with 205/50/15s and they're rubbing the crap out of my fenders. need to roll them soon!

But yeah, im sure this is going to feel way better than riding around on blown struts in the rear with cut springs and no bump stops haha. such a terrible ride! Im getting the ground controls for 70$ plus it comes with stock struts that ill use for a bit until i can afford some decent ones.

ps: your car is super clean ^^ hope mine can be as clean some day.
