Default windshield wipers arent working

my rear windshield wiper works
but my front ones dont.
i bought it like this (just got my car 2 weeks ago)
my friend said it could be a fuse?
or do you think i need a new windshield wiper motor
what do you think it would cost me to get it fixed?

the car sprays the cleaning stuff on the windows but the windshield wipers wont work
i turned them on to listen to see if they were trying to go but i didnt hear anything

thanks

check your fuses on your own. fuses are change on the dollar at napa or any auto parts store. check the fuses under the dash and make sure the metal is not burnt or broken. and replace with a new same amp rating fuse. if that doesnt work then idunno bring it to a shop.

there is a set of fuses right underneath the driverside dash. and there is another site under the hood on the passenger side by the battery. both fuse boxes have a diagram on them that says what fuse is for what.

If they make a clunk sound when you turn them on, the wiper linkage might be on backwards.

I had mine go, turns out the motors and motor bracket had turned to chalk. The metal underwent a weird change and broke apart.

If it's not the fuse it's not to hard to take off the lower windshield cowl and take a look.
