wider tires in front ?
whats up guys
right now, im running 205 50 15s all around ..
but i have to replace my rear tires asap
i found a good deal on 195 50 15s
but i was wondering if it would be a bad idea to run skinnier tires in the rear
would it affect handling ?
thanks for any help

if you have the money, get 205s, if not just get the 195s. i had some bridgestone potenzas 195/65/14s up front with shatty 175/65/14s in the rear for about 2 months and never had a problem. but now i have falken zeix 205/60/14s on all fours 
.

why would you want to put the bigger tires in the rear on a fwd car? better traction and like he said ^^^ in theory more neutral feel

well, if you are daily driving, having the same size all around will be more beneficial. you can rotora the tires for better/even wear.
if you are doing this primarily for racing or max handling, having larger tires in the front is necessary. for most fwd platforms, 64~67% of the weigh bias is on the front, thus needing larger tires.
i run 225/45-15 on 15x9 in the front, and 205/50-15 on a 15x7 in the rear.
this setup has been proven extremely potent.
