whistling from throttle??
Sometimes when i press on the accelerator a whistling noise comes from the right side of my car. I just got my car, 1.6 el, and the wiring for the sub has been done already so i'm not sure if it's a bad ground, but the owner before said he got it checked and they found that it was comming from the throttle body? is this possible and if so what could it be???

cone filters will sound like a whistling sound in some cases under throttle. maybe a vacuum leak or it has one of those ..throttle body spacers... that is if it is a physical sound. If it is coming from your speakers it could be interference caused from a number of things such as bad grounding, spark plug wires, routing of speaker/power wires, etc.. all of which can be fixed or u can add a filter to the power cable for the sub.
