Wheel bearing snap ring
Hey for those of you who have a press and press out your own wheel bearings. How do you get that friggin snap ring off? Mine is rusted in there and a snap ring plier won't budge it. I've sprayed PB blaster and liquid wrench on there but still siezed. Tried hammer and flat head to try to move it but it won't budge. Any tips tricks or suggestions?

Try taking a socket and tap the bearing a few times . When we took mine off I had a set of pliers and a friend had a flathead. As soon as we got it to budge he stuck the screwdriver in the small gap. I was using some modified needle nose pliers.

so how did you modify your needle nose? Does anybody know where I can find some heavy duty snap ring pliers. I bent mine to ****. I tried heating around the ring to break the rust, didn't work. I tried hammering the snap ring with a flat head to break it loose. Didn't work too. Any other great ideas?
