Its an additive thats supposed to clean your engine and components really well. I've heard plenty of great things of it, but also horror stories of how it cleaned off all the sludge/buildup holding the engine together. I've never tried it but its up to you. Good luck.

on my last motor "d15b7" during its last couple months of life, i seafoam'd her just to see if it made any difference an boy was i surpised.. I did it to my D15B too, an it made the ride feel so much smoother an cleaner.. Yeah it smokes a little bit when you do it, but thats just all the carbon being flushed out an all that.. Some say no, some say yeah, im just saying i did it an noticed a nice little difference, results may vary lol..

Seafoam FTW. If it ***** up your motor that's only because your motor was fucked up to begin with. Better to happen in your driveway than driving somewhere.

Most of the time when problems happen is when it's user error or the engine applied is only held together by carbon buildup.

If it's got under 150k miles Seafoam will be fine. Unless you've driven the **** out of it.
