im 99.999% positive you dont need to use it if you dont know what it is. but if you have to know it is tuning software used in conjunction with a chipped ecu

Its software for your computer (laptop) that you can use to program an ECU so you can tune your motor. Most people running boost use a tuning program like uberdata or hondata to tune the ECU to allow more fuel to be added to compensate for the extra air comming in.
