what torque wrenches/sockets/extensions for HG job?
hey guys, 93 del sol si. I know one of the wrenches is a 1/2. Is the other a 3/8 or 1/4? What size sockets and extensions to do this HEAD GASKET replacement? (Eric the Car guy has a good vid, but I did not see the two sizes of sockets and extensions he used)
When I send the head out to the shop do they only make sure the head is smooth and level? Or do they also do other work, like valves, seals etc..? plmk, thanks guys.

None of the nuts or bolts under your hood are 1/2". They're all metric. You'll want a full set of sockets (10mm-17mm), basic extensions (no longer than 12"), a good ratchet, and a quality torque wrench.
What the shop does with the head depends entirely on what you pay them to do.
