What sparkplugs do you use in your B18C?
Like the title says what do you use?
i was going to make a poll but i can't figure out how so i thought i'd just do this instead.
right now i have a set of ZFR5F-11 NGK spark plugs. These are B18a/b plugs, before anyone says anything i got these from a acura dealer and the guy assumed all integra's were the same but since i got them for like 8 buck, i didn't really care. i noticed some really really bad gas mileage so i thought i'd change them out for the right plugs but i'm undecided on which i should get.
Price Vs. Function wise.
NGK Double Platinum PFR6G-13 .052 DOHC $12.06
NGK IX iridium BKR6EIX-11 .052" DOHC $7.83
NGK Laser Iridium Long Life IFR6E-11 .052 DOHC $12.06
NGK GP platinum BKR6EGP .052" DOHC $3.15
NGK Traditional spark plug BKR6ES-11 .052" DOHC $2.89
NGK V-power spark plug BKR6E-11 .052" DOHC $2.89
These were taking from ngk.com
Note: the Laser Iridium Long Life IFR6E-11 are the OE plugs sold by Honda/Acura for B series VTEC motors.
Question is what would yield better Gas Mileage.
Please don't tell me the more expensive one would do that and not provide any insight into it.
Oh and i also thought this would make for interesting conclusions as to what other people use. be it Bosch or Champion or Whatever. so post what you use and your gas mileage
