what to do when hood holes are stripped?
well i took off the hood to install something and i tried putting it back on, but the hole is 'stripped' so i can't screw the screw in. tried different screws and it wouldn't work. so what should i do now? right now it's just closed without one screwed (out of 4) but its the one that matters because when i put the hood stand up the whole hood would tilt. so am i screwed?

I dont think his trying to take it out.
I think youll be ok with 3 out of 4. But if you want you could try to make another hole with a screw. Is it a stock hood or CF?

stock hood, yeah it's fine 3 out of 4 but when i put the hood stand on it tilts and looks like it's going to bend the bracket.

Either cut some new threads in it with a tap and die set or use a machine screw to set it in place (only the latter if you aren't in the habit of removing your hood).
Simple problem, simple solution...
