Stock. I want a swap or a turbo set up. I would like to find a swap that allready has a turbo and have the best of both worlds.

well, i would tell you to fix that stuff first. but if you want power, you will have a very very very hard time finding a swap with a turbo for that price.

buy a b16a2 swap from http://www.importautosalvage.com for $2500 shipped with everything needed to bolt it all in...
then, part out your engine, old harness, ecu on ebay and along with your extra $500 use it to get a T3 manifold, a T3 turbo, and a v-afc to start your turbo kit along by getting the big three out of the way....
or get a few big tittied hookers for the weekend

Re: What to do with 3k? (jwn7)
yeah i thaught that would be the case. I like the ITR engine but its goes for 45xx plus another 750 for install. THats too much. The reason why i was considering a swap is because my d16 has 110xxx miles. But i know that miles don't mean anything as long as the compression is good.

Re: What to do with 3k? (stackz)
I can pass on the hookers. What do you think i could get for my d16y8 with an aem short ram and a dc sports 4-1 ceramic header. I also just had the timing belt changed/water pump and the valves adjusted.

you'd make more parting it out.
sell the head without the distributor but with the harness and ecu and you'll get about $300-350 for it on the bay...
toss the aem up for about $50-75
the dc header will bring about $75-125
pistons/rods will net probably $50
crank will get $100
block if you can ship freight...will be about $200
and the aluminum oil pan will be another $50
the distributor should get you about $100
or try to sell the engine whole locally for $500
