Weird starting problem after battery/ECU disconnect. Relay click once.
So this is not the first time this has happened. Recently when I disconnect the battery to do some work the car will not start after I reconnect the battery. I can hear the fuel pump prime, turn the key and get one click from the main relay. Weirdest part is that in past occurrences the car will start after a day of sitting. Just looking for opinions.

1994 civic dx coupe
OBD1 JDM H22 GSR Trans
No starting problems with this setup for almost 4 years. With in the past 3 months this has developed.
Car started saturday when pulling into garage. Disconnect battery to install shift light. Reconnect battery and car will not start.
Today, replaced grounds from battery to chassis, trans to chassis, valve cover to chassis. One month ago new starter from autozone.
Oddest part is that this has happened a few times before and car starts after letting it sit for a day or two.

well to the best of my knowledge, that one click is your start solenoid trying to spin the starter, you're not hearing the starter so make sure you have a good ground, and you're getting power to it (test light or just make sure its there).. if you've got the power, try taping the starter lightly with a hammer or hard with something lighter
