Default Water sloshing noise from the dash?

Hello.

Car is a '98 EJ7.

For whatever reason, there is a fluid sloshing noise coming from the dash whenever I take off from a stop. Not when cornering, not when braking, just went taking off. There are seemingly no other problems with the car. It's not overheating, it's not visibly leaking any fluids, and the heat is working.

Anyone ever experience anything like this before?

i used to experience this in my 07 fit. you most likely just need to top off your coolant and the sound will go away. or your ac drain could be clogged.

Clogged AC drain is a good possibility

Have you had recent service on your car? A sloppy coolant drain and refill can leave air pockets in the system, which can gurgle and slosh around until they've worked themselves out.

My EG does the same thing sometimes, it's sporadic though. Everything works fine, just like yours. If I figure it out I'll post, good luck!

My daughter's newly acquired 2004 Toyota Solara does that and from everything I read it's most likely air trapped in heater core. I plan to bleed the coolant system as soon as I get a chance. I may isolate-flush the heater core out as well if, coolant bleed doesn't solve it.

I'll blow some air through the A/C drains too just in case and maintenance.
