Anyone used one of these before? Easy to use? Also, anyone where I can get it less expensive? Thanks.

Re: Vacuum brake fluid extractor (wc)
I have a MityVac that I bought off the internet for $30, and it does the trick well enough for me. I used to have speedbleeders but they had chronic leaking problems, even after I tightened them down to the point of them nearly snapping in half. The MityVac so far has given me the best bleed out of the two, and it's so easy to use I hardly spilled a drop of fluid in the process, plus my pedal feels firmer than it ever has, since I bought the car 4 years ago. I usually don't have anyone to help with bleeding brakes, so for a single man job the MityVac is something that I would recommend.

Re: Vacuum brake fluid extractor (Milano97)
From the website: "This brake fluid extracting system is the easiest way to bleed brakes by yourself if you don't have an air compressor. "
How does an air compressor aid in bleedin your brakes?

air compressors are quite often used for tool that us vacuum. and for vacuums period. snap-on makes a pretty cool air compressor powered vacuum

I just bought a MityVac myself and I having some serious reservations about this, after doing a search through this forum(should have done this before buying it)
It seems a common complaint is that the suction is pulling air bubbles from the bleeder screw threads, and also you have to pump the handle quite a lot.
Did you have these problems as well?
