tuning del sol on dyno with vafc
When dyno tuning my CRX Del-Sol it wont give a steady consistant chart each time i run it on the dyno, the factory traction control kicks in and causes a lot of problems. Even with traction control turned off the problem still exists, is there any way of possibly removing traction control from the ECU or temporarily disabling it while on the dyno? Is there any way to fix this problem or is it something else entirely different that we have overlooked?

Yes. Some JDM del sol's had traction control. No usdm del sol's came with them.

try a diffrent dyno machine
TCS wont do **** on a dyno because the wheels dont slip. TCS transfers power from one wheel to another when a wheel slips. no wheels slip on a dyno (at least for a nearly stock honda)

tcs on hondas just cut the throttle when wheelspin is detected. you can tell it's activiting by the flashing TCS light... but it still shouldnt activate on the dyno rollers

hmm do you have abs?you should if yo have tcs cuz its run off the wheel speed sensors from front to back.if you do then the abs controll mobule sees the diffrence between the front wheels and the rear, and the tcs will come on.try disableing your abs you should have no problems. usually they have 2 types of systems for tcs one cuts throtle and the other applys brakes . or if you have a bmw you get both.

Re: (Adi)
find a chassis dyno, they are more accurate anyway. They make a dynojet seem as useful as the infamous ht "butt dyno."
If you even fart while on a chassis dyno, it'll show up on the graph....
