Re: tranny leak (4door)
Check your seals. I had the same problem on the passenger side. The seal cost me 5 dollars and a couple of minutes to swap it out.

yeah, 16 in the 2nd pic.
You need to drain the fluid...then you can pry out the old one carefully and evenly with a screwdriver, and press the new one in.
Make sure to clean the mating surfaces clear of dirt/oldseal, etc

Re: tranny leak (Emerika)
well he said its coming from his cv joint. a friend of mine suggested that it was the small ring at the end of the axle that fits into the indentation by the splines. #9 in the first pic. hopefully its this and incase this happens to anyone else they can refer to this thread.

The snap ring (#9) in the first picture is there just to prevent the axle from sliding out during turns.
I had a bad tranny seal and I was leaking oil and it was because of a torn 16 seal. I'd put my money on that being the cause.

he said it's coming from where the CV joint meets the tranny.
The snap ring holds the axle into the diff
If it's leaking fluid, it's the seal...if it's oozing grease and a boot is ripped, it's your axle boot...both easy fixes
