tranny fluid leaking from axle

tranny fluid leaking from axle
i replaced an axle like 2000 miles ago, and now its leaking tranny fluid from the tranny where the axle goes in, how can i fix that?

The axle seal is probably ripped where the axle goes into the tranny. It's an easy fix and a cheap part. Just have to get the part, take the axle out, pry the old rubber seal out with a screwdriver or something, and push the new one in. It's a really tight fit so be careful with it. You don't want to mess up the new one. Once you get the axle out you will see what I'm talking about.

my $.02 is that your axle seals are worn, or need to be replaced. Where the axle spline goes into the tranny, there's a rubber ring, with a spring inside of it. That may need to be replaced.

is it kinda like the crank seal how it has that spring inside of it?
and i wasn't sure when i was putting the axle in, but i coudlnt tell if i had it in as far as it could go, i figured it had to be or else i wouldnt be able to put eerything back together .. is this right
