Hi. I replaced the timing belt and water pump on my 99 Civic at 147, 146km with OEM timing belt and water pump. I bought the timing belt and water pump online for $130 with free shipping from autopartsway. The waterpump says it's AISIN but I think it's the company that makes it for Honda. The timing belt is HONDA brand. I took it to a mechanic and charged me $300 for labour to replace both.

After replacing the timing belt and water pump, should I be concerned about how I drive my car for the first couple of hundred kilometers since I have a new timing belt and water pump? Should I drive slower until the new timing belt and water pump settles in?

just drive normal and dont drive like an idiot and u should be fine. theres really no need to drive slower than usual

Yep as long as it feels ok and they didnt mess up the timing you should be good. Mine started making a weird noise after I got the T belt and pump put in but I think its bc we didnt tension it properly. Dont really care tho its getting a new motor.
