Default Timing Belt Check up

I bougth an old honda civic 1998 EX with 250K milage and it works fine to me. I am worried about the timing belt if it is time to replace. Is there any easiest way to check if i need to replace or not without removing all these belts and pulleys?

There is no way to tell if it needs to be replaced just by looking at it, unless there are obvious cracks, deterioration, or missing teeth. With that sort of mileage, you should replace the belt either way. It's a whole lot easier and cheaper than replacing a blown engine.

Change belt and water pump at the same time. most of the labor cost is done by the time you get to the belt anyway.
