A while ago someone shot a bb at my front windshield while my car was parked at school. I haven't gotten it fixed yet. I need to get safety check (here in Hawaii).

Anyone know if there are shops that can fix chips or tiny cracks?

Absolutely, although there are of course limits to what can be repaired. Check your phone book, and you should be able to find a shop that handles such repairs.

i've used the simply kits found at walmart with good success in the past. as long as it doesnt have any radiating cracks it will work. works great for BB holes.

This may be a SoCal thing. But when I had my window replaced. Me and they guy were bs'ing and he said that its no longer legal(or somewhere along those lines) to fix chips because they can cause glare.

But if its 5 bucks verse 150 Ill be going for the 5 dollar quick fix.
