Last night I fastened my side skirts to my EJ8 (they were loose), and started installing the wiper linkage, which has been out of the car. Tonight, I plan to finish that.

Swapped out my spoiler trunk lid and striped bumper for another silver set from the junk yard =/ trunk lid is still off a little bit as i'm sure it was rear ended, but it'll pass for DD material..

Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
I installed my winter storage tires today, and while checking ball joints and bushings (as I always do), I found out that my rear left strut fork bolt had backed out and was staying in place through pressure on the non-threaded side of the strut! Pretty freaky. I did a full track day last weekend and was complaining about how the handling on the car was always changing (duh).
Anyway, bolt and sway bar are now snug and back in their normal condition. I wonder how that happened. Maybe the previous owner had not tightened it properly?

Took apart the gauge cluster, it's now ready to be painted. Now I just have to wait for my blue lights to come in.

I finally decided to pull her out of the garage and wash her to get ready for winter storage. I also decided to sell off some parts for newer civic's to get some $$$ for my future build (**** it seems like future is turning into forever or never). I just keep accumulating parts etc when I can on a budget.

97' civic dx with d15b8. Orginal motor (d16y7) blew and i took my buds motor from 95 hatch. So i Finished putting in my 8.5 lb flywheel, exedy stage 1 clutch, and ex trans in my 97' dx (d15b8). I'm lovin it.... well for 70ish hp... lol! Cant really get on it yet but it does accelerate very smooth... the response is beautiful....
Now to get the y8 head ready... p&p and milled... then im stroking it. Yes stroking it.... d15a3 (2) crank, rods shot peened with p29 pistons.... all for fun... i've never heard of anyone doin it so I am...

Did a bit of painting today. The outer part of the bezel is white too. Would have liked to put the white needles on, but I've heard horror stories about them not functioning properly once they have been taken off.

Changed the ATF in my girlfriends 99 coupe. The fluid looked good on the dipstick but was so dirty compared to the new fluid. So worth the $26 for 3 quarts (yes genuine ATF). After filling it took it for a drive. Went through the gears, 2,3,D4,R, It was a pretty big difference. So smooth and I was having trouble with a hard shift from 1st to 2nd but that has seem to subsided. I think I will be doing another drain/refill in a couple hundred miles.
