honda does not recommend syn. tranny fluids..30w dino. juice works best

honda doesnt recommed syn. motor oil in the motor....does that mean we shouldnt use it?

I have yet to see where Honda "doesn't recommend" synthetics. They specify a weight only - no regard to synthetic or not. Can someone point me to a reference where they don't recommend synthetics?

Yeah I put redline in the tranny. it doesn't work to well. Had alot of problems getting it into reverse without crunching gears.

i was only being sarcastic, sorry if i offended anyone
They DO recommend their MTF, but they also recommend 10w-30 or 10w-40 motor oil when their MTF is not available. Seems to me that any fluid meeting these specs would do. My 100,000 mile Honda transmission thinks so too, but hey? What do we know?
