Instead of throwing another D upgrade while you at it and get a B series.

Ever thought he couldn't afford it? or perhaps he'd rather swap in a new motor and boost if for half the cost of a b swap and dominate both?

There's a good DIY in the faw at the top. Actually there are a few DIY's out there. I'l search for a couple for ya right quick.

i would recommend getting a manual for your EK.
Hayne's is perfect. If you are just replacing your engine, and not droppping a b-series swap, a manual is all you need. and some tools. <3 Snap-on.

Found this, browse through there. Tons of DIY's.

And a haynes would be good too.

Simply stating that he can upgrade while he is already swapping engines out. At the end of the day it is up to the OP to decide what he wants for his car.

A haynes has a good guide if you're just swapping out the motor.

Helms/haynes, whichever you can get.

I bought a B20 from my dads friend with 20k miles and I just bought a B18C5 type R head to swap onto it. as of now though I wanna keep the d16y8 because of the love I got for the motor haha plus I need a car until august (going to england to stay with some of my family for a month and I'd like to have more to spend there haha) and I'm trying to spend the least amount of $ I could on it so that's why I got my new d16 for only $650 for 1 with 50k and a year warranty but ya the B20 will be swapped in during the winter when I can afford the B16 tranny/golden eagle vtec kit/etc

but thanks everyone for there help =]
