Time to do basic suspension work. This is a bone stock 96 EX coupe daily driver. Has anyone used these kits off ebay that include upper arms, ball joints, tie rods, etc for $120 shipped? OK or junk? They are pretty cheap and if they will do the job a couple years, all I'm looking for. Thanks.

I'm scared that they might break or the bushings might go bad, why not just replace your old joints/ bushings only?

Ive used one on an old hatch of mine plus installed one on a buddie's 96 accord.


My experience...they're good to go, just be prepared for needing an alignment...you will notice a difference in suspension feel too it's great!

Well...my old car has not fallen apart yet and I did that suspension swap like...2 years ago. The accord is still fine too, to each his own I guess.

I would replace the old bushings and keep all your original pieces unless they are in pretty bad shape. Order new oem bushings and if you like the look of those pieces from ebay just clean them up and paint them yourself. Then you'll be all set for way more than a few years. Plus you'll retain oem ride quality and geometry. Just my .02

because im cheap, i bought'em a while back. they're not bad & do the work. nothing's come off broken yet. and restoring any old bushings & balljoints' always a +! you will totally feel the difference.

i have one on my 96 civic and they work great...ride is pretty good compared to name brand stuff...all my friends are suprised at the ride quality...going on about 2 years now. not one problem

dude go for it they are fine its like any auto prats store they have over priced crap and cheap crap all the samething if u ask me i worked at napa for mad long.... and ive used the ebay set and no issues and saved alot to cuz 2 lower ball joints are 40 bux fu** that.. get that set ....
