You "should" be runing a larger sway bar with a asr brace, other wise they are basicly pointless..

However you can buy adjustable D brackets for just this, or may be able to modify your current D brackets.

I got it for bling. Anyways anyone know if I have to get the asr d brackets? cuz the two holes on the d brackets don't match the asr brace.

If I modify the d brackets that would gap the bushings to the bracket.

**what size swaybar are you guys running with you asr brace?

You cant enlarge the holes on the bracket to match??

Energy suspension sells them i think for around 30 bucks, Look at it, youll see what i mean,

Thats weird if the holes dont line up on your D brackets, since the holes on the ASR brace should lines up on your car. I just installed a ASR brace on my Ej1 w/ the ASR Sway bar and it lined up great. If your doing it for the bling you should get the ASR sway bar & the D brackets, they look mighty fine when its all put together.

It doesn't make sense that those D brackets bolt on to the car w/ no problem before & the ASR brace uses the same holes and it doesn't match up.

So ok.. There's three bolt on the right, the top one and middle one is where the stock swaybar bracket bolts to. Im thinking your suppose to use the top and third bolt in pic for sway bar d bracket am I right?

The reason why is asr's are set up for 22mm+ sway bars which use larger d brackets.
Hence the smaller ones won't work without being moded.
Are you sure its a real asr?

You may need the adjustable ones I said.

It actually does. But the middle bolt groove into the brace therefore I cannot use that. IIm suppose to use the top and bottom bolt for the d brackets correct?

Couldn't find it at the energy suspension website. All I see for my make and model are a bunch of bushings and ball joints.

direct Website could help me though!!! Thanks

Type R sway bar is $100 or less. I think I bough mines for $80. Why not upgrade to a thicker/better bar in conjunction with the ASR?

That's true, however, some buy ASR sway bars which are more then $100
A larger rear sway bar will casue more oversteer, which some people dont like, and it can get you into trouble fast.

Ill see if i can find it
