if it's not burning oil or water then maybe it's a chistmas miracle. It HAS to be burning something right?

How much smoke are we talking about and for how long? Is it really white or blue-ish in color? Does it smell lik anything. Is there oil spots on the back bumper? Could be a little oil leaks past the valve seals onto the pistons and burns off. That appened to an old Mazda we had. It smoked up the whole street for 30 seconds while the oil burned away.

It only does it when it has been sitting for a while right? If you shut it off and turn it on like 20 minutes later while the motor is still warm, does it still smoke? What car do you have and how old is it? I use to have an accord that had this problem. I sold it 3 yrs ago and it still runs. The guy who bought it fixed it, but I don't know what was wrong with it.

could be a head gasket or a crack in the head. When it warms up everything expands enough to seal it up

That's freakin hilarious, why don't you get yourself a compression gauge and do a compression test and start narrowing it down

Not to insult your intelligence but could it not be the normally condensation associated with combustion gases going through a cold tail pipe. i.e. like in winter how you always have white stuff coming out of your tail pipe.......
