HEATER NOT WORKING
1998 CIVIC EX, THE HEAT IN THE CAR DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. IT JUST BLOWS COLD. THE COOLANT WAS LOW A FEW DAYS AGO AND I FILLED IT UP. ANY SOLUTIONS? ALSO NEW THERMOSTAT AND COOLANT FLUSH ABOUT 2-3 MONTHS AGO.

Try what the diagram says. Start at #8 since you've flushed the system recently. Also park on an incline while you do it so all the bubbles in the system go towards the radiator and can escape the system.

Re: HEATER NOT WORKING
move the cold/hot lever on the climate control to cold and then look under the hood against the firewall. Note the position of the heater valve. Now move the lever to hot and note the position of the valve again. Should be opposite direction of the first reading. I had this happen on a 94 civic and I ended up bleeding the system with the radiator cap off and a funnel wedged tightly into the radiator, heater on hot, heater fan off. I filled the funnel up just enough so that it was an inch or two full. Let the car run enough so the fan kicks on twice. Squeeze the hose abunch of times. Remove funnel and excess fluid and hopefully this helps some.... Good Luck!!!!
