Icon2 rpm signal wire

Ok so I have a d16y7 and am hooking up a tach I just need to know what wire is the rpm signal wire if you have a pic of which one it is it would be awesome.

RPM signal comes on a blue wire to the speedo from the ICM (96-98) or the ECU (99-00).

Its a 96 cluster has 3 connectors 2 blue and a green one. Is it just a solid blue or is it have another color added to it

2 solid blue ones with 2 silver dots one on the green connector one on the blue. Then on the center. Blue connector one with white and one with black both have 1 silver dot

The solid blue tach wire pins to terminal C8 in connector C at the rear of the cluster.

Even if it doesent already have a tach. That's why I'm installing an aftermarket one.

Yes, the blue tach wire at C8 will be there even if the stock Civic did not have a tach. That's why many people just swap an EX cluster in -- plug and play.
