On my Hatch the reverse lights, license plate bulbs and 3rd brake light do not work. I replaced all the bulbs except on the 3rd brake light, I have a feeling that may be the bulb. I checked the fuses and obvious wiring and found nothing. This is on a totally stock 92 vx hatch.

Anybody have any ideas or know of any common issues?

when you say you checked the wires, do you mean physically or with a voltage meter? sometimes looking at it physically doesn't mean that there isn't a short. grab a voltage meter and check the wires for a short.

all of them just suddenly went off? or the car came like that? if it's all of a sudden... It may be the fuse under the dash.

there is no voltage. i just noticed because i got pulled over.

i had the same problem on my moms kia. fuses were fine under the dash and the hood. started trouble shooting w/ my voltage meter. took awhile to find, but i had a wire melt to the side of the car, right behind the fuse box. it sucked took about 2 hours to find. sometimes it's like that when troubleshooting electrical.

i heard something about a plug or grommet that wears down the wires and possibly causes an open over by the spare compartment. i will look into this tomorrow.
