REquest....Hood latch problems on a 93 civic
So my cars hood latch was real getto didnt even open from the inside i had to puull the wire manually.......well now the latch came off and my car hood refuses to latch on......anyone have like a guide or something and if u read this and decide to be a ******* dumbass and post some retarded **** back save it go jerk off to your muffler...i TRIED SEARCH!

THE WHOLE LATCH.....AND LIKE I CAN BOLT IT BACK ON....BUT WHEN I CLOSE THE HOOD IT LATCHES BUT IS JUST HOOKED ON THE LATCH..SO I NEED LIKE A PICTURE TO SEE HOW TO DO IT.....CUZ WEN U TIGHTEN THE SCREEWS I SEE U CAN LOWER OR RISE THE HATCH....

So the whole latch came off the chassis? But it's attached to the hood still?
From what I can tell you're going to want to remove the front bumper so you can adjust this corectly first (this will make it easier to get right).
Put the three bolts on (if it's at all like a 6G latch) and adjust the latch until it's where you want it. Then just tighten the bolts back up.
Are you saying the latch won't let go of the hood when you shut the hood though?
Is the cable attached at both ends?
Can you manually open the latch easily from the front, without using the cable?
I've had some latch problems in the past before and I'd like to try to help, but your posts are somewhat unclear.
