I was thinking of rebuilding my D16z6 How much you think i might have to spend

that would be dependent on how much of the work you are able to do yourself and what tools you have available. on the parts side of things, you should be able to pick up a complete rebuild kit (gaskets, water pump, belts, seals.. everything really.) for $350 or less.

^^ exactly what i was going to say, even with a bit of mechanical knowledge and a manual you could do it yourself

i would deff say 350-500 TOPS givin u dont have certain tools or it needs a hone and u can reuse certain parts ie: head, pistons, rods so on
