Random misfire problem. Fixed the same day
So I was driving to work yesterday morning and my car started to misfire and bog down and wouldn't accelerate. So when I got out of work I went to auto parts store and got new NGK plugs and a cap and rotor. So I replaced the spark plugs and then distributor cap. Question is the damn rotor! It didn't have the screw to remove it I literally spent about 30 mins cranking the engine I see if I can see it and nothing. How do I replace the rotor! D16y8 btw. Well after a while I have up and only replaced the cap and spark plugs. And the problem went away. Drives and idles fine again. But I'm still wanting to replace the rotor. Wires are on route via mail.

Get it close, then just put the car in gear and push it a little.
Your other option is stick a ratchet in through the access hole in the splash guard and rotate the engine.
