hey guys so in my car had a radio that never worked never cared for it
but today tried to fix it took the radio that it had not a stock 1997 Honda civic ex radio but it was a Honda radio

anyways that wiring was wack lol so i cleaned up the mess and all and stared to check the wires that gave power

1997 Honda Civic Stereo Wiring Information
Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Blue/White
Radio Switched 12V+ Wire: Yellow/Red
Radio Ground Wire: Black
Radio Illumination Wire: Red/Black
Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Blue
Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Gray/Black
Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Red/Green
Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Brown/Black
Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Blue/Yellow
Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Gray/White
Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Red/Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): Brown/White

Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Blue/White so this wire thats constant 12v has the volts going to it all good but the
Radio Switched 12V+ Wire: Yellow/Red does not have any power going to it when switched/car running

checked the fuse under the hood. yes it was blown changed it aaaand still no power go the to Yellow/red switched wire

checked the under panel fuses all good.

oh and also checked the under the hood fuse if it gets power 12v good.

the radio that ill be wiring up is a pioneer rds that a friend gave me it works and all

does anyone know what the problem can be thanks its just kinda of a headache lol

Voltage test the dash radio fuse (10A fuse 28).
