My rad fan doesnt turn on so i hard wired it. The only problem is the light on the switch i installed is on when the switch is off/fan off. When the fans on the light is off. So im worried it will drain my battery since it stays on when the key is off. Idk how i got it backwards like that.
If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

I'd solve the primary problem instead of worrying about the simple fix. Most likely the fuse is blown.

i checked the relay with a good one itand it still didnt work. Im thinking it has to be relay or tstat but im just trying to temporarily get it to work before i get a real fix.

Jump the fan switch (thermoswitch) connector with a paper clip with the car running. If the fan comes on replace the switch.

ok thx will try that. was almost gonna buy a new one but now i can know for sure.
