problem witn my A/C ( honda civic Si 92 )
well how r u everybody this is my first topic here and wont be the last one
i have purchased honda civic si 92 one year age , now im trying fixing my A/C cause i can drive my car in summer due to high temp
well i have check my A/C circualtion for any leak and ia have cured it ( after i charged my system with ambient air ) then i withdraw all air inside the system ( i waited 30-45 min ) to ensure that my system has been vacumed.
my compressor use R12 freon so i replaced it with R12-406 ( in our local shops there is no R12 duo of saving enviromental )
well i have charged my system with 1 bottle that equal 400g and it was in the night .
i went inside the car and its nice cool air )
after 1 week ( ididnt turn on my A/c during this time ) i turned on and it was 12 PM and outside temp was 40 c
warm hot air comes , but i notice that when i turned it in the night nice cool air came
so what is your suggest where is the problem ?
is it the dryer ?
hot air around the motor make reaction with a/c pipies ?
the compressor ?
well i have read the FAQs about A/c and i didnt find any solution for me

You added 400g of R12 but the system capacity is 595-652g. Therefore, you need to add an additional 195-252g of R12 to the system.

Re: problem witn my A/C ( honda civic Si 92 )
The answer is dependent on many factors, including the outside temperature and humidity, the engine rpms, the A/C settings. Therefore, it's always best and easiest just to recharge the system with the amount of R12 recommended by Honda, which is 595-652g. If the system has cooling problems afterward, then measure the high and low side pressures at 1500 engine rpms with the A/C set at MAX cool and recirculation. Also record the outside temperature and humidity.
Also, did you add oil to system to compensate for losses after the A/C system repairs?

Nothing on the can indicates that it contains any oil.
Never invert the can when charging the system. You could damage the compressor. Inverting the can allows liquid refrigerant flow into the low side. You only want refrigerant gas to flow into the low side.
