Power door lock actuator issue
Hey guys,
I need some help with lock actuator on driver's side 2dr 97 EX. I can't lock or unlock my car with a key, power lock (inside or outside). Is it safe to say that it's actuator is cooked??

sounds like it..
my 2 cents is to just take your door panel off (5 mins.) and psycially
look to see what the problem is..and if you don't have a book to work on your
car i would buy 1.

Sounds likely enough, but could be other things, namely your linkage could be stuck. But it sounds like the acuator. Take the door panel off and see if you can move it by hand.

I took a panel apart and took everything out! While actuator was attached to latch I still couldn't lock or unlock it. If actuator goes bad I simply can not lock doors?

got a good book took everything apart and still a little confused. If actuator goes bad I can't lock my doors?

If you still hear the relay going off when you use the power lock swtich, or feel it clicking (it's right under the mirror inside the door panel), then it should be the actuator. I had the same problem, replaced it and works like new again.
