hey guys so like i said in previous post my car was stolen and the basterd cut the ignition switch out, but luckily my father company has a GPS tracking unit in it and we found it within the first few hours. anyhow with the ignition swith cut out i stripped the wires down, and in the hayes book it say with the first key turn the battery and accesory wire are touching and i might be wrong but if i would just hold those wires together shouldnt i get stereo and such? if i should i am not maybe blown fuses when the wire was cut and ideas guys? can i turn my car on without the switch?\

PS if you guys would like a GPS tracking unit that can track your car to the nearest foot and you can acually turn you car off fro myour computer let me know or email me mongoliandonuts@yahoo.com

I'd say either there's a blown fuse, a missing ground in the circuit or the guy who gutted your stalk just damaged it enough that it's shorting when you try and mesh the wires together.

Good luck with that. Sounds annoying .
