PLEASE HELP!! HOW MANY 92 SI'S WERE MADE??????
I am having trouble settling with my insurance company on the value of my car after it was stolen. I want to get another Si, but they are hard to find. My insurance company can't grasp that idea so I was wondering if anyone knew or knows where I can find out how many Si hatchbacks were made in 1992. Any help would be greatly appriciated!!!!

You need to brush up on some laws (I'm goin off of what I know from cali).
First you should know there should be a department of insurance (what it's called in cali) or something where you could go to make a complaint if the insurance company is not agreeing to pay fair market value of your car. If that's what they are doing threaten them with the fact that you will complain to them, usually this works. If it don't then give them a call.
Second they ARE NOT supposed to pay bluebook value for your car. They are supposed to pay FAIR MARKET VALUE. So all you really have to do is search the price of what they are going for in your local area (current and past newspapers). You could easily use those to make a great argument and get a price you will be comfortable with. Plus if you find an si that you want and is in same cond. as yours you can easily get that amount and pretty much have the insurance pay for you buying that car!
Good luck though, insurance company's are a bunch of jack asses that love to get paid but hate to pay up when they suppose to.

Yeah I have been doing all that basicly looking up prices on autotrader and other sites. I already have several complaints filed with the insurance comissioner due to Allstate accusing me of stealing my own car. I have settled all that through court now and am finally to the writing a check part and they only want to give me fair market value and not pay for all the thousands of dollars extra I had on my car that I all have receipts for.
Basicly I highly recommend if you have Allstate to get out now!!!! Try having at car you have done nothing but put your heart and soul into and then to have a ******* *** car jacker steal your **** and then your insurance company blames you for it. So like I said get out ASAP if you have Allstate.
And if anyone knows that number of Si's in 92 please let me know!!

dude, you ganna have to call honda on how many they made. Then a different insurance company who might tell you how many are left on the road (ask w/o salvage title if urs was clean ttl), they are always on top of numbers like this. I'm sure u could make a reasonable case. But u no there is a good chance they will eventually find your car and depending on what the thief took and did you might wanna buy it back from the insurance company.

It is my understanding that insurance companies only give fair market value for a car no matter what you have had done to it.
The only way you can get more is if you had it appraised for more.
I have had friends with heavily modified old pickup trucks that have had the exact same problem. One had over 5 grand into the truck and only got 1500 from the insurance company because he never had it appraised.
