pcv valve black box?
whats the black box called where the pcv valve goes to? i have a d16y8 and my pcv valve broke when i was replacing it and the end piece that stayed inside the black box went in the black box. help please.

Well all that is in it is a mesh screenlike stuff, so when I did mine the grommet ended up inside too. I just left it in there and stuffed the new grommet on.

ahhhh!!...sorry to bump up this dead post but this just happened to me today while trying to remove the end piece of the pcv valve to run a line to my catch can!! now mines is stuck inside as well so what could be the worst that could happen?? are you guys having any issues??
