has anyone installed one of these intakes before. A problem came up. The valve breather tube gets in the way. The tube is hard so have no ways to twist or bend it and i cant take it out because it is connected to another tube. What should i do ?

Re: Password Jdm CF intake
im guessing its the breather tube that has a couple rubber hoses on it and goes from the valve cover to the intake pipe on a stock intake?
you would delete that tube and place a breather filter on the valve cover
or some intakes have a port for the breather tube, dunno if PWJDM does

Re: Password Jdm CF intake
I plugged it directly in to the intake. Didn't use the supplied tube, just the the fitting that goes in the whole on the side of the intake. A bit of a struggle, but it went right in...

Its all about the placement of the intake. If theres room i guess its all good. Another problem came up! frkin after i installed it, i started my engine. First the engine light pops up, and then the engine runs rough. The temperature is raising however the engine speed is not slowing down. What is causing this? and what can i do ? thx

Re: Password Jdm CF intake
what kind of grommet does this intake use for the valve cover breather hose? Mine only came with grommet and it looks like they just expect you to stick the hose in the hole vs. connect it to a hose fitting.
