yeah its fine to lower it with stock shock but then expect a shorter life for your shock and another is poor ride comfort.

you'll be fine, i'd suggest you look into tein and H&R springs. The lower you drop your car the worst the ride quality will be on stock shocks.

I've already bought the eibach sportline. how long will it last on my stock shocks? all i have to do is get an alignment and set to toe angles to oem specs or zeros right?

You could lower them. Its just the shocks will not last as long.

expect 1 of your shocks to blow, mines did, and it still is. get new shocks.

stock shocks < aftermarket shocks

some people have lowered cars with stock shocks that have lasted years and some that have lasted a few weeks. depends on how you drive and the condition of the shocks right now. eibach sportlines isnt that big of a drop but i dont know what the condition of your shocks are either. dont drive it hard and it should last at least until you save up for some new shocks.

yeah right now i have eibach springs on stock shocks. well they are 99 si shocks. no difference though i believe but yeah the drop aint all the great and ride is whatever. just wanted to drop my car and these were laying around. Just don't be satisfied with aftermarket springs on stock shocks.

you make it sound as if eibach springs suck because time after time they have been proven to give great performance. and TEIN SS coil overs are expensive as hell. id get a ground control coil over and koni yellow setup instead of the SS coil overs with that amount of money.
