OIL / FLUID LEAK SPRAYING ALL OVER FIREWALL BEHIND GEARBOX
I have just completed a B18c itr swap into my civic eg6
After driving around a few days I noticed a creamy fluid had been sprayed all over the firewall behind gearbox.
I am not sure where this leak is coming from
It does not seem to be coming from the driveshaft seal but its all over the boot and seems to be spraying everywhere.
I had filled up the gearbox with correct ammount of fluid and also power steering fluid was put in to max.
What gets me is that its a creamy white like grease. The power steering fluid was slick 50 and was a creamy colour.
Anyone else had this type of leak.

Can't answer the question in regards to color, however it's probably coming from the power steering assembly and not your transmission. See how much power steering fluid remains in the reservoir.

I had the same problem when I did my swap, the only thing was that the grease was grey and not white. It ended up that the inner CV boot had a little hole in it, and that had caused the grease to fling everywhere. Take a look at the CV boots, see if its coming from there. Hope this helps.

does this "goo" you speak of have any sort of a pattern to it???
the reason i ask is cuz if you see a "line" of said "goo" going from the front to the back of the car then it's prolly a drive-axle boot leaking grease near the clamp.
