Default Oil Dipstick

yeah my oil dipstick is all corroded and when i checked my oil just now the yellow holder fell right off when i put the dipstick back...how much would it cost to get a new dipstick and where at? dealer?

Any parts store will most likely have one, but you can always go to the dealership.. shouldn't be more than 10 bucs anywhere.

dealers, parts store, junk yards, etc.......they're pretty cheap

Know anyone who's done a motorswap? Take it from their stock motor... Man if you were in CA, you could get one easily for sure.

Hastle of a salvage yard? I would rather spend the whole 2 minutes it takes to walk in, take a dipstick, and walk out rather then spend $17 for one...but that's just my opinion. I guess some people would rather spend ridiculous amounts of money instead of doing something that requires hardly any work...

no i just want it brand new so that i know it will work...brand new OEM parts are sure to fit and be good quality...i did check the salvage yard...no 92-95 civics out there
