I'm getting no cel or fuel pump prime and am at a lose any help would be greatly appreciated

So I'll try and be as detailed as possible.
when I got the car (96 civic ex) the person had just swapped a d16y7 in it but was running an obd2b harness and p2e Ecu, the car ran okay but the gauges didn't work and
the pump never turned off and so on.
I picked up an obd2a harness cleaned and check it over got a new distributer, I have swapped everything in and still used the p2e Ecu witch I know works because the car ran before swapping the harness and is the right Ecu for the year and motor, now that everything is in with the key in on(II) I get oil and srs light and nothing else and the main relay only clicks once and fuel pump won't prime.

If i jump the main relay plug p5 to p7 the pump will not prime if I jump p1 to p7 it turns the pump on so I know the pump is good

I have tried 2 main relays both known good

I checked all the power and grounds at the Ecu plugs and they are seemingly good

i get 5v at the tps with koeo with the Ecu plugged in and key on (II)

the thermostat ground has been moved to a clean good ground on the frame

checked all fuses non were blown all had 12v with koeo

You're missing one of the major power circuits since the battery light should also come on with engine not running. And the brake light if the hand brake is pulled up (may be the same circuit as oil light).

There's a reason Honda ran the ECU ground wires all the way back to the engine not the frame. Ground them to the engine.

Thanks! For the info I will look into it tonight when I get off work.

I am goings to reground it to the thermostat tonight had to cut the old connection off and I'm going to clean the houseing today should the 3 wires to that ground be separated the they were before hand 2 on one side and the one on the other or can I run them all together? And the brake light does come on when hand brake is up.

Yes just connect all the ground wires together.

Update

i have redone the ground to thermostat

tested main relay and its good

I do get a battery light with koeo it was just missing a bulb

still not getting a cel (replace that bulb as well just to be safe) and still nothing iv been searching all day and either find a dead un answer thread of it being a thermostat ground any ideas?

Anybody have any ideas??? Iv been checking wiring on this thing all day and everything seem fine
