No CEL with ignition on. Help!
Hello, I need major help and I am stumped. I have a reliable ls/vtec with the help of bambam’s article and Honda-tech. I am running a chipped p28 ecu. It’s an obd2b vehicle. And it also has an Obd2b engine (99 ls block with a 99 gsr head).
I purchased a “tuck”engine harness from a reputable company. With this harness it’s a plug and play expect three wires (Purple, Green/Yellow and Orange/Blue). I was told by this company that the wires are for the fuel pump, check engine light and tach. I just need to know what wires are the Purple, Green/Yellow and Orange/Blue corresponds too.
I tried contacting the company but it is a slow dilemma.
Also, the engine harness is for an obd2 engine but has the ecu plugs for an obd1 ecu.
I just need to know what the three wires represent. Which one is for the fuel pump, cel, and tach?

Re: "tuck" harness, three wires, need help!
I figured out my dilemma with the wires. the three wire go as follow:
Purple - to Tachometer blue (there is a plug right by the drivers side shock tower plug with a blue wire, you can connect to that.
Green/Yellow - A16 on the OBD2B A connector (32 pin)
Orange/Blue - A18 on the OBD2B A connector (32 pin)
Ok, so I connect all the wires to the appropiate location. My car starts and runs fine. BUT, I have no CEL when ignition is introduced. Doesnt come on or blink at all.
things i did:
1) Connected ground to A13@ obd1 ecu(green w/orange) turned ingnition, and the CEL did came on.
2)measured voltage between ground to terminal @ A23 and A24, and there was more than 1V
the next step was to repair an open wire between ECU and G101(thermostat ground)
Would this be inside the harness loom? Did the company miss a wire or crossed a wire by accident? How can I get my CEL light back on? any help would be greatly appreciated. - Mark
