Well now that i got my donor del sol i gues ill make a build thread on them. First off is my 94 sol vtec trim. Got her at a police auction earlier this year and came incomplete so sat for months until recently
Next is the donor sol. I picked it up cheap and have started tearing into it and have pulled the frame but just found out that the trans mounts broke so the trans is no good..... ****! So now i get to find a new trans.. what i plan to do is tear the b16 out of the 94 and drop in the d16 into the 94 from the 93. The car was running but got totalled. I have starded the engine and it runs. I am gonna part ut once i find parts i dont need and am gonna sell the rear disk setups. Now a quick question. Its the d16z6 so whats a good trans that will hook up and not have to reprogram on the ecu?

Its just dirt. They are both tx cars so no rust it was wrecked in july and sat there til i drove 4hrs for it

Yea its got a conversion. Pretty sure its the 99-00 conversion but gotta get another radiator corse support since me n my dad broke the bumper part when i bought it. We tried to tow it hoke and found out it didnt have breaks and ripped it off...

Why you swapping out the b16 for a d16 tho?

The b16 is missing parts that i cant get in my town and dont even know if itl start if i get the parts... Also im missing so much that its cheaper to just drop in the parts from the wrecked sol. I woulda gotten a integra but this sol i foumd first so went for it

If i got the b2d adapter for the trans would i have to chip and tune my ecu?

Well its missing stuff i cant get intown. It needs the dizzy, alternator, ecu, make sure the engine is actually built correctly and torque it down to spec just stuff i cant obtain here... The person that wants it lives 6hrs away lol

Update for today: i got bored and took off the mugen oil cap i had on the b16 and put it on the d16 and ripped off what was left of the headlight and fog light for the passenger side. Gotta pull the core support more so i can get the radiator in so i cam have it running and see if the ac works

Update and todays plan: well theres a few people who want the b16 setup and im gonna get a trans and 300 for them. I still gotta pull the front more Or just rip the core support off with my truck. Wont matter because its getting trashed after i pull everything. I started a part out for that stuff i dont need like the rear disk conversion and well i am stuck until i get an engine hoist. Damn lil bastards cost more then what i remembered..... Trying to find a used one cheap. Will the b mounts from the sol work on the d16 or do i just pull the d mounts and put them in the 94?

Pulled on it with my truck and got the radiator out and have my racing radiator on sorta just to fire it up and see how it runs. Anybody know what rims these are?
