New Master Cylinder
My master cylinder went out on my EG, so I am in need of a new one. The only problem is I can't find the OEM Nissin anywhere. Is there any other brands of new or refurb ones that anyone would recommended?
Thanks

Re: New Master Cylinder
brake or clutch? The A1 Cardone brake reman master cylinders are normally an OEM Nissin. Other than that you can try Beck/Arnley. It wont be stamped Nissin, but they're decent quality.

Adler brand box is OEM Nissin brand inside. Still pretty expensive @ $70-80 but will save you around $50 over the Nissin box.
The NTP brand one looks to be an OEM Nissin unit without the Nissin name embossed into it. Might be worth a try if you don't absolutely need the name. Personally I want mine to say Nissin on the side.
Do you know which size you need? EG's are usually 13/16" (clear reservoir), but there is also some with 7/8" (blue reservoir). There also different ones for ABS cars if you have that. Do you have a brake swap? Let us know.
