I bought a hatch a while ago with a d16z6 swap. Things ratty as hell but I'm into it. It throws codes 1,3, and 17. The kicker is that it runs like a champ. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I want these codes gone before I turbo it.

1 is o2 sensor, 3 is the map sensor, and 17 is the speed sensor. Check all the wirings before you replace them.

Thanks man. I'll do that but how does it run so strong still? Are those things not detrimental to performance?

O2 sensor will reduce your mpg and increase smog but performance still OK. 17 doesn't change much at all (does the speedometer work)? The MAP is kind of important.

Whenever you have more than one code, clear them and drive just until the CEL comes back on, then read again to see which one(s) reoccur first. You can be looking at old codes that were for transient problems.
