Default Need a little help please. Possible distributor failure.

Two days ago I was driving my car in the morning. The car had only been running for about 20 minutes or so. I was driving normally and then the car hesitated as I was giving it throttle and then proceeded as normal. A few seconds later it just died out. I tried to crank it back up but it acted like it wanted to crank but didn't. A few tries later I cranked it up(barely) and gave it a little gas to make it actually stay running. It misfired and then died again. I kept trying to start it up and it gave little, like it was trying to start but wasn't getting enough spark. Eventually battery lost too much charge and I had to get it towed home.

I let the car sit for 2 days because I had to work. This afternoon I jumped it off my other car and it started up sluggishly and I feathered the gas until it idled normally and it stayed running. I took it around the block a few times and it seemed to run fine.

My original thoughts were maybe my distributor is gonna take a crap on me. My plugs/wires are fine and I just replaced my cap/rotor/coil a few months ago but not the distributor. I recently replaced my fuel filter as well(I don't know if it's related but ran into that problem last week where car wouldn't start). I'm torn between thinking it's the distributor or my fuel injectors. I'm thinking it's my distributor because if it was my injectors it wouldn't have cut back on right?

I want to take it somewhere tomorrow to get it looked at but I'm hoping I can at least get it there without having to tow it again.

Any ideas?
